    Location: Multiple

    The Cloth Option distributes new or gently used cloth diapers and other reusable hygiene products to families in need. Newborns receive 20 cloth diaper changes, infants receive 15 changes, and potty training toddlers receive 10 changes.

    The HopeLine offers diapers and baby formula for families in need in the New York City area. Keeping infants and toddlers clean, dry, and healthy is key to building a solid foundation for all children to reach their full potential.

    NYSHCR directly administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program in New York City through its Subsidy Services Bureau.     Life is Precious (LIP) provides culturally and linguistically appropriate family services to Latina teens from low-income families who are living with depression or have seriously considered or attempted suicide, and their families. The provide: a home away from home, workshops in health, wellness, and healing.

    Shelter can be a lifeline for survivors and families escaping dangerous abusers. Families at the crisis shelters live in private apartments within the shelter, and have their own bedrooms and kitchens. We take steps to meet their short-term needs, while preparing them for long-term success.

  • Violence Intervention Program Emergency Shelter

    Violence Intervention Program provides emergency and transitional housing options for families experiencing domestic violence.

  • GEMS Supportive Housing

    GEMS provides housing with 24-hour support through to young women ages 18-24 who have been commercially sexually exploited. Services provided include: Transitional housing, Supportive services for residents, Independent living options, etc.

  • Freedom Youth Family Justice Center, Inc. Victims & Survivors Services

    This program assist victims and survivors who are 12 to 21 years old by providing comprehensive services, tailored to the needs of the person. Services include: support groups, life coaching, housing Referrals, job placement, financial assistance, etc.
